PRESS ASSOCIATION^ London, February 7. - The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message, dated London, TtlvJebruary :— Wool—The sales progress firmly. Since the opening the following sorts are par to |d per lb higher :^-Greasy merino super, scoured merino super, fine greasy and tine washed crossbred, fine scoured crossbred* medium creasy and medium washed crossbred, and medium scoured crossbred, while the market for superior greasy lambs is very firm, there being a special demand for this class of wool. Other descriptions are unchanged. The total quantity catalogued to date is 131,000 bales. Wheat—Market is quiet, New Zealand whett, average, is worth 30s 6d per 496 th. Other quotations unchanged since last telegram.
