Timaru, February 2. The weather was bad for thd second day of the South Canterbury Amateur Athletic Club's meeting. Rain fell, and , the attendance was poor. The Officials' Race was won by G. Jones, and the Consolation by Low, beating Matson by a yard. The time for the latter hundred yards was 12-sec. Moir and Postlethwaite tied for the championship, and the Committee decided to have both rift'"*3B engraved on the champion cup, Postlethwaite's to take precedence as be had carried off most first prizes.
