OBITUARY.
London, February 2. Sir W. B. Bartellot, M.P. for Horshfun, Sussex. His wife died a few days ago. A NEW LINER. The Cunard liner Lucania has been launched. She is 12,500 tons register, and 25,000 horse power. NELSON BROS. Nelson Bros, are calling up £2 per siiare. "Fair Play" asserts that the Company is exposed to a strain calculated to test its strength to the Utmost. BANK OF NEW ZEALAND. At the haif-yearly meeting of the Bank of New Zealand Sir James Fergusson, who presided, said that the deposits were on the increase, and the depression in Australia had not affected the bank.
