"THE REVIEW OF REVIEWS."
The latest number of the " Review of Reviews," Australian Edition, contains a character sketch of the late Poet Laureate, beautifully illustrated. The progress of the world, and the progress of the colonies are reviewed in the usual epigramnatic style. Many of the best caricatures the previous month are reproduced, and the extract^ from'and reviews of other reviews form a valuable compendium of contemporary literature. The pith of every article of note is given, and there is thus a tremendous shillings worth of reading in the " Review of Reviews." Among the Australian contents the aeries of " The Makers of the Colonies " papers is continued, the subjeqc being Mr Jap}ea Seryjce; and iii another part of the edition the' financial difficulties qf sc)in 4 of our" neighbors arg reviewed. We pan only repeat vhat we have said of previous numbers—that the %l Review of Hevinws " should be read by everybody who cares lo know what is going on in the world. It can be obtained from any bookseller.
