IRISH AFFAIRS.
The Court of Queen's bench has decided that Mr John Morley, Chief Secretary for Ireland, is liable to be criminally prosecuted for issuing an order refusing to allow the police to protect sheriffs while executing writs at night. Washington, February 2. The Irish National League of America has issued a manifesto, declaring that the Home Rule Bill, judging from what has leaked out about it, will be a mass of verbiage and a mere excuse for shelving the question.
