Victoria and South Australia, '. Brisbane, February 2. Tremendous rains have fallen throughout the Northern Territory, 23 inches being registered in 24 hours at Yeppoon. Disastrous floods are anticipated. Heavy floods havo already occurred at Gympie, aud the main street is four feet under water. The river is 67 feet above the ordinary level, and is still rising. At Brisbane, the river ia rising rapidly, and is within ten feet of the great fWi of 189(6. A heavy gale is raging along the seaboard. ' - :~
