Sydney, Januiity 10 An Indian prowling about the streets of Fenrith resisted Seargeant Beattie's efforts to move him on, and drove a long sheath knife through the officer's body. The Indian kept the crowd at bay for some time, and at last Constable Mosley drew* his revolver and shot him in the abdomen. A bystander then attempted to secure the Indian, but the latter drove his knife into him also. All three are in a critical condition.
