t tore Shebp —There was a very heavy entry of a varied assortment of store sheep. A large proportion changed bunds at the following rstes :—Two lines cf merino, full mouthed, and small, cold at—For wethers, It lid andewta Is 8), many being only suitable for " boilers " ; two-tooth crossbred prlnc'pally ewes weat from 8s 5i co 9a Id ; some crossbred ewen and lamba rea'ised 6) ii ; a coop'e of merino wethers in wool fetched 10s Id ; sonze two and four tooth maiden ewen and wahers irore sold at 9a to 101; avreia ( wl.h lambs given in, realised up to 10j 8d; mixed ages crossbred ewes realised 3a Id; and scrae merino ewes and lambs brooght 5.81.

Fat Lambs.—Over 1500 lambs of elk descriptions wore yarded of whloh a number were prime qaalSty and fi: for export. There was a keen demand for thene which fetched 7* to 12a 6i. Inferior aorts were ha-d to dispose of. Fat Sheep —An entry of over 8000 fat iiheep randeud fc'ie tale late and there was noii as ke. n • demand for moderate quality as 'hire has bean Utely. Anything approaching prime qua'ity or suttable for export was snapped up at much tha same prloe as has been given lately, viz., 2d to 2|l per lb, but anythkig of Indifferent quality was subjeoted to a deoline in price and numbers of tlitt class were passed out not aold.

Fat Oattlb— There was nothing epeolal In the beef pens and there was n< demand for more than aotu»l trade requirements. Best ox beef sold at from 18s to 19a par lOOlbs; Inferior quality at various rates.

Sxobk CUttie —There was about the •vei'age entry of store cattle of all classes. Three fear old ateers sold op to £412 a, younger cattle realised up to former quotations.
