The annnal distribution of prizes in connection with the above school took p'aoe on Friday afternoon, 20th ult The p.-izes were given on tha results obtained at the recent examination by the inspector, Each child pa joing a standard received a prizo while those who falle'd togathor with the scholars in the P. classes received presents Tqo icholara were address dby Mr Watson ( eaoher) urging the children to renewed di igence daring the ensuing year in order that the results at the next examination might be as gratifying as those obtained this year, Mr Wat eon (member of Committee) also address d the children and promised a prize next year to the most popular boy or girl in tbe school. I —W, Lambie and R. A. Mulligan, presents. The following is the. Inspector's report on the tchool at the recent examination:-— i Mr Jobu Watson, Master. Mrs Wakson, Sowiog Mistress. This small fchool has passed a Batlafaotnry examination. The performance of the pupils gives abundant evidence of a very carefcl preparation, tha re6uk of a conscientious discharge of duties by tbe ceacter.
