JOURNALISTIC BLUNDERS.
The leading London papers are, as a rule, exempt irom mistakes of a serious character; but surely the " readers "of the Times and Telegraph must have been asleep, or at least dozing, when they allowed the following amusing advertisements to pass without having the heading " Comical News." Howeter, we will not dwell on these young 1 men's failings, but proceed to the subject of the charge :-rA respectable young woman wants washing.—l2——road, Forest Gate, E." Wanted,— A man and his wife, to look after a farm " and a dairy, with a religious turn of mind, without encumbrance. Wanted.—A sorrel Colt, must be quiet, and suitable for a.youug lady with along tail—Mies Kingston, Cicle Tilla, Breakenifc road, Ley ton. A respectable young person wanted itged. about eighty-one or ninety-one as Houßemaid, and to wait on a table.— Apply between 12 and 2at , Queen's road, Bayswater. For Sale.—Three handsome donkeys, «-Mesers Bedhill, White, and Chandle, Corn-dealers, Kingston. The following advertisement is from ii Cape paper :— Notice.— Five pounds reward, Whereas some person or persons, ntabbed my donkey on the 26th of January, and well-known about town j and has since died through the wound, nnflicted. I hereby give notice that I offer the above reward to any person giving information concerning tbe cruel deed.—William Cameron, Chiappin Street, Cape Town, January 26th. A Shrewsbury paper once printed an . advertisement thus:— Ladies School—Miss begs to inform her friends that school duties will be resumed ou Thursday, January 30th,
