Sm, —List night I was present at tbe Oddfellows' Hall to see Mr Haltby go through his trick riding and to say that I was amazed does not Buffiolently expre&s any astonishment 1! was very sorry to see,to poor an auetienoe as I thlok honor onftbt to ba paid where honor is due, but If anyone wishes to see tbe bicycle properly and arlistioally handled then I advise him to go to-night when he will goe what I ooniilder the most extraordinary aod instructive exhibition that has ever appeared In Ashburton« It Is not my usual custom to rash Into print in praise of travelling shows, but, I conaider I should not be doing my doty were I to' allow so oleveran artist to pass from amongst us without trying to induce as maty residents of the district ss possible to toe him.-—I am, etc., D; Thoi^as,
