The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following London cable message, dated 20th December :— • Frozen Meat — The mutton market is inactive, and beef unchanged. Wellingand Canterbury mutton is worth 4£d and 4£d per lb respectively. (Kaceived Duouiuber 23, 2 p.m.) London, Deoemoer 22 New Zealand hemp is quoted at £27 5s to £27 10s. Arrivals of foreign wheat are small. The English wheat market is firmer, the .Continental is inclined towards buoyancy and the American is steady. Money is advancing owing to withdrawlas for export. Three months bills 3£ per cent.
