Mr T. Bullock reports for the weak ending Saturday December 21st,. ' There was a Targe entry of horses, vis., 48. Biddings '^at the commencement were slow but" theybecame more brisk as the sale proceeded and the.best sorts offered were sold at very., satisfactory prices, especially medium draughts. $here were again buyers present for this class^who couled not be suited. A large proportion of those turned out nnsold were weeds, inferior light harness horses and hacks. Buyers declined to purchase this class at any price, There. were no young heavy draughts offered. Out of the days entiy of 48, 24 were sold as follows : — Medium draughts, 7-yeara>dld £19 ios, £ao, £zi ; 4-year-old of a light description £1% ios; 5 and 6«year olds also of a light stamp £12 ios, £14 ; aged £141 light harness horses £6, £6 15s £7, £j 15s, and for a good upstanding bay gelding suitable for a dog cart, the satis* factory price of £19 ios was obtained inferior £3. M 15s ; *acks£6 gs ; £6 iss ; §£^158 ; £8, £8 ios according to description, £3 15 ; yearling colt unbroken £4 ; scrubbers £1 to^i iosj saddle and bridle 4s; sundry harness etc. at market rates.
