The report of Major • General Edwards on the defences of New South Wales has been published He considers the system of administration to be unsatisfactory, and says that the system is incomplete. They could noi be available without delay, and then possibly the use for them would have passed. In conclusion, General Edward: says that a Minister of Defence is required.
