Chioago, Deoember 17Coughlin, O'Sullivan, and Bouike, bave been found guilty of the murder of Dr Cronin and sentenced to imprisonment for life. Kurze was sentenced to three years imprisonmeut and Beggs was acquitted. The jury fixed tbe sentences themselves. They were four days m arriving at the verdict. One juror stood out and compelled ths rest to compromise. The friends of the dead man are indignant. The prisoners have applied for a new trial. The American Press declares the verdict m the Cronin case to be an outrageous miscarriage oi justice.
