The meeting will be held undsr the Rules of Racing. 2. No «atry will be received except on the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out ofthe racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. Their decision on all points con nected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 3. The Races are open to any horse commonly resident and trained m the district from the ist October, 1889, to the date of meeting, and owned by a person who has resided n said district during the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bou.de d on the north by the Selwyn river and on th. south by the Opihi river. 5.
