EMIGRATION.
In reply to a deputation from the London Labor Association which waited on him with regard to emigration to the colonies, Loid.Knutsford gave them to understand that he was unfaeorable to the State granting any aid. He added, however, that nothing would be done m the matter until the Committee appointed some months back to enquire as to the best means of promoting emigration to the colonies had submitted their report.
