DEATH OF SEARLE
(PBR PRESS ASSOCIATION,) ' Mblbourkh, Dticerpber 10 Henry E. Bearlo, the champion sculler of the world, who has been suffering from typhoid fever, died to-day. Ha was first taken ill after leaving Suez, but improved before reaching Colombo, where the champion took part m a foot race and also m a cricket match. Shortly after re-embarking he rapidly developed typhoid fever, and was removed to the chip's hospital. He arrived at Albany on the 17 th November m the steamer Austral, and cane on here by her, when he was removed to the Sanitorium at Williamstown. Sydney, December 10. The death of Searle has caused a profound sonsation throughout Australia. He will be buried at his home on the Clarence river. LSearle was only 23 years of age, having been born at Clarence Bivor on July 14, 1866.]
