London, Deoembor 7. At the auction gales wool reverted to the opening prices. (Reaeived December 9 ; at 2 p.m.) London, December 8. The English wheat market is steady, the Continental shows a general advance, and the American is steady. Forward business is active, and arrivals are large.
Tallow — Medium mutton. 25s ; beef, 28s.
New Zealand Hemp, £28 5s to £23 10s.
