Messrs Balme and Schwartz had 6500 bales catalogued for their wool sale to-day, of which quantity five sixths was Australian wool. The room was crowded, and there was the keenest competion. Prices were generally five to ten per cent above October rates. Good merinos and coarse crossbreds are exhibiting the most firmness.
