RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The meeting will be held audit the Rules of Racing. 2. No entry wfll be received except on the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. The Races are open to any horse commpnly resident and trained m the district from the igt' October, 1889, to the date of meeting, and owned by a person iyho has resided n said district during the same per'rqd. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on the north by the Selwyn river and on th. south by the Opihi river. 5. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of aU moneys payable m accordance yjth this programme for the expenses of tbe course. 6.
