THE BRAZILIAN REVOLUTION.
♦ [Paa Pbbbb AsaooiAxiowJ (Received Novambsr 20, 11.29 «.m) Rio Janiero, Nov 19, It appears that Da Fonesca corrupted the garrison and seized Rio Janiero on Thursday night. He proceeded to Petropolis, where the Emperor was staying, on the following morning and informed i Don Pedro m the presence of his family that he had been deposed. The news was received by the Emperor with composure.. Within an hour the Emperor and his family were placed on board the mail steamer bound for Lisbon, one of the Brazilian warships accompanying the vessel to sea. V Brazilian stocks have declined sevens per cent m London. The Government presented Dow Pedro when leaving with £580,000, an& decided to allow his pension to continue till the matter of allowances to hip family has been decided. The strict censorship maintained over the press prevents the truth of the affair being divulged, but the impression prevails that the revolt is owing to the favor shown to the priests by the Royal family.
