Brisbane, November 19 Replying to Sir Henry Parkes, Sir J. Moorhead says that the position already achieved by the Federal Council furnishes a favorable startiog point for the federation of the colonies, but m order to meet Sir Henry Parkes' views and throw no obstacle m the way of complete federation he is willing to fall m with the idea of Mr Gillies, the Premier of Victoria, as to a convention composed of members of the Federal Council and others.
