The Presidency of the Government has been assumed by FieldMarshal Da Fonesca, who has guaranteed the safety of the Imperial family. Da Fonesca has issued a manifesto abolishing Monarchal Government, and declaring that m taking this step he is assured of the support of the various ' provinces. The population is quiet, fcejog \a favor of the new Government, of which the list of Ministers has been published. The revolution is theoutcorae of the bigotry of Princess Isabelle, Crown Princess, and her husband, Prince ' Louis of Orleans.
