LIBEL ACTION.
A libel action brought by Mrs Besant against the Rector of Stepney, owing to the accusation of the latter charging Mrs Besant with uuchaste teachings, was heard to-day before a jury. After a few hours' consideration, the jury intimated that they were unable to agree, and probably a fresh trial will take place.
