The following is the Corn Exchange repor ' for week ending Friday, November 15th: — The week's business has been unimportant as regards large transac'ions, although space has been taken up m homeward bound, ships, wh eh has had the effect of lowering stocks considerably m wheat ; freight for which is pot so easily adjusted on account of space bung tequircd for' wool, the forward season fcr this line being rather to the disadv ntage of late shipments. Values remain for this cereal about the same as our last quotations. In oats our advices do not warrant us m giving increased values, although we have no signs before us of any weakness ia this commodity. Uarley continues without alteration, few lines of priire malting being under offer, and maltsters not anx ; ous to trade. Beans and Peas, excipt for seed purposes are aot enquired for. Potatoes have to our regret come to Ul3 end of the season m a very decisive and unmistakeable manner, no chance of a revival being anticipated by the most sanguine. We have pleasure m stating from advices from all parts cf the province that crops are well forward, and given a few genial showers should be unexceptionally pood. Dairy produce is without any considerable alteration, lactory made butter being most m request, and cheese from noted makers commanding prices which seem to be more than the quality turned out deierves. Our quotations are as follows: —

WnEAT— Tuscan, 3s 4d ; Hunters', 2s iod to 2s nd; Pearl, 3s to 3s id; chick wheat, whole, 2s 4<l to 2s 6d ; broken, 2s id to as

3d. Oats— Milling prime, 2s 5d to 2s 6d ; stout feed, 2s 3d to 2s 4d ; other sorts, 2s to 2s 2d. Barley — Malting, 3s 6d ; medium, 2s 6d to 2s Sd ; feed, 2s.

Beans and Peas— The former 3s 3d, the latter for blues, 3< fid to 3s gd,

Potatoes — Mominally, 303 to 40s at country stations. Grass Seeds — Medium ryegrass, 4s 6J ; farmers, 23 gd to 3s Cd ; cccksfoot, 3d to 3^d. Sutler, 5d to 6d ; cheese, 3jd to 4d. The above prices are those paid to farmers for delivery, f.o.b. Sacks extra. Potatoes excepted, _______________
