No entry will be received except on tha conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. The'r decision on all points con« nected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 3. The Races are open to any horse comJ monly resident and trained m the dislrict from the Ist October, 1889, lo the date of meeting, and owned by a person who has resided n said district during the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on tbe north by the Selwyn river and on th* south by the Opihi river. 5. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance with this programme for the expanses of the course. 6.
