Auckland, November 12. Tho Tamaaese party m Samoa, according to news received, have appointed Malletoa as King and Tam&Beae as viceKing at tbe aaroe time though Mataaf »'a patty eleoted Mataafa temporary King and Malletoa vice King. All, however, are ■waiting the arrival of the Commissions from the Great Powers, and until they oome nothing can be deotded. It ia said, however, that there oan be no doubt that the lately exiled Malletoa will be the choice of tha people aa K'ng The Elizabeth, cotter, of 23 tons, wbb wrecked at Whangarel Heads on Sunday morning, breaking up en the rooka. Her crew and one passenger were saved with much dlffiouUy. The vfa-iel was loaded with fl*x and wool, and the former was swept away to Eea, whilst tha latter waa washed ashore. There waa no Insurance on the outter, whioh belonged to G, Owan.

Last night Mr Dillon addressed a meeting on tbe Home Bale question. Considering the high charges msde for admission there was a large attendance. Mr Dillon spoke Id moderate language, •nd at the end a resolution expressing sympathy with the cause of Home Bule wm oarried.
