Large shipments of gold are being made to the Argentine Republic. The mail steamer was the bearer of £100,000 shipped by the Bank of Auatralaßia, and £20,000 shipped by by the New Oriental Bank. The Bank ol Mew Zealand also sent a bos of gold by tha Zealandia.
