THE AUSTRALIAN DOMINION PROJECT.
Sydney, November 9
A meeting was held here last night m regard to the proposal for the amalgamation of the Australian Colonies m a Dominion. Addresses were given by leading politicians representing both parties m the Assembly. Sir Henry Parkes said that the question of a uniform tariff was a matter for; the Federal Parliament to consider. The meeting) which was a most enthusiastic one throughout, passed a resolution affirming the desirableness of the project for an Australian Dominion being carried out.
