CHRISTCHURCH AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL SHOW.

The Metropolitan Show opened yesterday In rainy went her, whioh olea?ed In the afternoon. In Hampshire D;vma, Mr M. Friedlander swept the B )»rd, taking a couple of medals and all the onief priz?a. m draught; horses the medal »nd fi.ot prize fell to Mr Leonard Whlte'a King of the Vanquishers, Mr D. McKendry being commended. There waa a good deal of dlaoatiafaotlon with the judging m this class, exception being taken to the animals whioh leoeived the second and t'ltrd prizes.
