RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The meeting will be held undor the Rules of Racing. 2. No entry will be received except on the • conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 3. The Races are open to any horse commonly resident and trained 1 m the district from the Ist October, 1880, to the date of meeting, and owned by a person who has resided n , said district during the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on the north by the Selwyn river and on the south by the Opihi river. 5. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance ; with this programme for the expenses of the course. 6. All nomination and acceptance fees to go to the funds of the Club. 7. Trotting Race horses must trot to the satisfaction of the Stewards. NOMINATIONS.
