. The following is a statement of the ! antiies reoaived by the Secretary, MrJ. J. O. Qaaoe, for tbe annual Show whloh takes plaoe next Friday : —
The entry is the largest for any sbow yet held here, the total being 31 m excess of last year's number, Substantial increases are shown m sheep, horses, cattle and dsiry prodace. There is a falling off of 9fi m tbe class for pigs, but this Is acoouated for by the fact of the Rangiora rhow being held on the previous day and ! thus preventing breeders m that district' exhibiting here. Implements show a decrease as compared w,lth last year, the reason being that the makers are devoting their energies towards getting ready for the Exhibition to be held at Dur.dio. The total 245 m the class for horses is made uo as follows J — Draughts 102, 1 Blond 1 16, Carriage horses 66, Habkneys 87, Hunters 11 and P nlea 13 :
