GERMANY AND THE PORTE.
St. Petersburg, Ootober 25 The visit of the Emperor of Germany to the Sultan of Turkey has been the subject of some comment m the Russian Press. It is believed that he attempted, without success, to induce Turkey to join the Triple Alliance.
