Stoiu* Shb**p. — There wes a good entry pf orossbred hoggets which met with ready sale at from 10s Od to 12s 3d ; crossbred ewes with lambs at foot sold at various prioes ranging from 13s to 16s 9d, Fat Sheep.— Over 8000 were plaoed m the fat pens. Of these uot more than two-thir_B were what may be termed prime mutton, There was still a keen demand for best quality freezers, and prioes throughout wore fully up to the standard attained last week. Lamas.— There was an unusually large entry of good lambs whioh sold 'freely, prioes ranging from 7s to 13s. Fat Cattle. — Tge sale of beef ehowod a slight deoline m price on all linos exoept one very prime lot sent to market m grand condition by Mr J. T. Knight of Laveriok's Bay.
