Millers are operating with increased oaution, and there ia no demand whatever for speculative purposes. The market is tending downwards week after week. Best Tuscan 3a 5J to 3s 6_, beat milling red straw and velvet Si 2 j to 3s 3d, medium to gcod (nominal) 3? io 3a 2d, inferior to beat fowl wheat 2a 3d to 2s 9J, ex store. Oats— -The market continues steady with a fairly active demand Considerable quantitiee have been disposed of during tbe week, so that stocks are now reduced to muoh .mailer dimensions, and confined principally to lots held on growers' aooount for a more satisfactory market. Buyers, however, decline to advanoe on last week's rates to any extent, but it is quite possible if holders oontinue firm to bring, some improvement about. Stout bright milling Is lOd to Is lid, .bort feed (best) Is B£d to la 9£d. medium la 7d to Is id, ex store (.sacks extra). Small lots for _eed were sold at auction this week up to 2s 23. • Ba_:le_— The only demand experienced is for limited parcels of particularly good quality for malting. Oommon or ordinary quality has no attention exoept at ridiculously low prioes; Prime malting 33 5d to 3s 7d, medium 2a 9d to 3s, feed and milling 2s 3d to 3s Bd, ex store (Backs extra). j
