No entry will be received except on tht conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections aiising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. The'r decision on all points con* nected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final, 3. The Races are open to any horse com. monly resident and trained m the district from the Ist October, 1889, to the date of meeting, and owned by a person wbo has resided m the said district during the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on the north by the Selwyn river and on the south by the Opihi river. 5. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance with this programme for the expenses of the course. 6. All nomination and acceptance fees to go to the funds of the Club. 7. Trotting Racehorses must trot to "the satisfaction of the Stewards. NOMINATIONS. Nominations for Hurdles, Tinwald Cup, Farmers' Trot, Welter Handicap, FJying Handicap ani Pony Handicap accompanied by fte, name, age, description, and performances of horse, and colors of rider must be m writing and m the hands of the Secretary at Scott's Hotel, Tinwald, not later than 9 p.m. on Saturday, 14th December. 1889 WEIGHTS.
