The dock laborers have passed a vote Of thanks to the Melbourne " Age," "South Australian Advertiser," and " Sydney Daily Telegraph," for their sympathy »nd support m the recent Itruggle against the dock companies. It was decided that the surplus should remain m band until November next m cue of a breach of faith on the part of : the dock owners. Earl Granville and the Marquis of ; Kipon confirm the remarks delivered by Mr Gladstone at Hawardeo that the • recent strike is pregnant with hope for . the future of labor.
