SHIPPERS' COMMITTEE.
The Shippers' Committee have been re-elected, a meeting of those interested being unanimously of opinion that operations have been of a beneficial character. The Chambers of Com merce and brokers are discussing the question of pilferage of cargo, overcarrying, short delivery, and an indemnity to be paid by the State for the employment of merchant steamers m war time.
