Catch weights. Half-mile. Entrance, ios. j RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The meeting will be held undjr the Rules of Racing. 2. No entry will be received except on the conditions that all claipns, disputes, and objections arising out ofthe racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 3. The Races are open to any horse commonly resident and trained m the district from the Ist October, 1889, to the date of meeting, and owned by a person who has resided m the said district during the same period. 4. The district above mentioned is bounded on the north by the Selwyn river and on the south by the Opihi river. 5. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance with this programme for the expenses of the course. 6. All nomination jand acceptance fees to go to the funds of the Club. 7. Trotting JRace horses must trot to the satisfaction ofthe Stewards. NOMJNATIONS. Nominations for Hurdles, Tinwald Cup, Farmers' Trot, Welter Handicap, Flying Handicap and Pony Handicap accompanied by fie, name, age, description, and performances of horse, and colors of rider must be m writing and m the hands of the Secretary at Scott's Hotel, Tinwald, not later than 9 p.m. on Saturday, 14th December, 1889 WEIGHTS. Handicaps will be published on or about the 23rd Depember.
