At the wool sales prices remain very firm except m faulty scoured sorts, which barely maintain July prices. The Homo trade has taken 55 per cent of the number of bales offering.
Fourteen hundred cases of kauri gum have been Bold at an advance of 4s.
(Uqoelved Oot. 14. 2 p.m.) London. Ootobor 13 New Zealand hemp is quoted at £28 15s to £29 per ton.
'lhe English wheat market shows a general advance of 6d. The Continental is inactive, and the American firm.
Throe months' Bills, 8£ per cent. Tallow— Medium mutton, 25b ; beof, 23s 9d.
The quantity of wool catalogued to date is 228 400 bales of which 213,400 bales have been sold.
