WAKANUI ROAD BOARD

The monlh'y meeting of the Wakanui Boad Board was held on Saturday Present — Messrs Bruoo (Chairman), Brown, Co?, Lill and Strachtu.

6. Maintenance— The maintenance man finished off Wilson's road, after which be bad an attack of bronchitis and was hid op for a week. We put on « man to work the horses during bte Illnasi. We find tbe harrows thst he uses are not adapted to tbe wotk as the points have got loote, and we would recommend tbe Board to procure a good heavy pair of faon harrows with an extra set of long teeth as the latter would be mnob more effcotlve In polling tbe tussocks out.
