(FIB PBIBS ASSOCIATION.) London, Ootober 2 . It is announced that there is a surplus of £7000 from the strike fund, after retaining £2000 m hand for the purpose of relieving cases of distress which may arise, the Executive desire formally to thank the Australian colonies for their magnificent contributions, and to elicit their wishes as to the disposal of the balance. It is suggested that the money should be utilised for the formation of a universal labor federation, including Australia. Barns has cabled to Melbourne to the effect that not a single penny of tbe money subscribed m the colonies m aid of the London dookmen has been used otherwise than for the purpose intended.
