A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident m the district between the rivers Selwyn and Opihi, from July 20th, 1889, and up to the date of the meeting, and owned by a person who has resided m the said district during the sanv* period. IE2H 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance with this programme for the expenses of the course. 5. All nomination and acceptance tees to go to the funds of the Club, NOMINATIONS. Nominations for all Handicaps, accom* panied by fee, name, age, description, and per)otmances of horse, amd'eotors of rider must be m writing and m the hands of the Secretary, Commercial Hote!, Ashburton, not later than 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th, 1889.
