Archdeacon Julius of Ballarat, m announcing his acceptance of the bishopric of Christchurch (New Zealand) Strongly recommended that his successor at Ballarat should be chosen m the colony. He said there were plenty of good men m Victoria and there was no necessity to send Home for one.
