(Received, Soptembor 27, 2jjn.ra.) Bydnby, September 27 During the cruise of the Saucy Jack among the Islands, a sailor named O'Brien, developed into a fiend incarnate. He murderously assaulted the crew on several occasions on the voyage to Sydney, and nearly killed the cook. Ultimately he was secured and handceffcd, but he succeeded m setting fire to the vessel, and he then jumped overboard and was drowned. The crew managed, after a hard struggle, to quench the flames, which had been started by the maniac.
