MR GLADSTONE AND THE GOVERNMENT.
Io the course of a speech to-day, Mr Gladstone said the coercive measures adopted by the Government m dealing with the administration of Irish affairs has only induced the Irish to continue agitation for Home Rule, and the more closely to conserve their interests.
