An expert baa arrived hore on behalf of the Company, and goes to the island on Saturday to start vrork at once on a large aoaie. Samples <>f Un from the oUim whioh woia sent to Sydney wer. found to contain 30 z of tin to the ton. Tarae Danedin syndicates have 180 acres of tin bearing ground nest tha; of tie Sydney Oompmy.
