Boulanger, m the course of an interview, asserted that all parties m France were disappointed with the result of the election, but he considered the situation from his point of view had improved. Tho Opposition are stronger, and the majority is composed of divided interests, which, it will be found, cannot work together. In his opinion a crisis is inevitable.

The Chamber of Deputies will probably meet m November, when the Government will resign, leaving President Carnot free to summon whom he pleases,
