London, Beptomber 25. The quantity of wheat afloat for the continent of Europe is 304,000 quarters The American visible supply 25,000 bushels. The wool arrivals to date amount to 367,000 bales, of which quantity 49,400 have been sent to the manufacturing districts direct. The quantity avilable for the present series of sales is 228,200. New Zealand mutton is quoted at s #d.
(Reooived Sept. 26, 2.37 p.m.) SUBSIDY. Bydnit, September 26. The Legislative Assembly has voted a subsidy of ;£iooo to the Australian United Steam Navigation Company for inter-island communication at the New Hebrides.
